Having no idea what's been going on I'm going to cut it short here and mention why I started this thread. See if that interjects some ON TOPIC action here.
I ran across this web comic which is a mix of every cartoon network show out there, and Invader Zim, no holds barred. (Link goes to the first in the series.) It rocked so hard naturally I thought it needed to be done in the Star Control universe!
Now, to add one more cross over.
X-Com - X-Com had effectivly and relatively quietly repulsed three alien invasions, first from mars, then from our own oceans, then from aliens who teleported into our cities. However, after the alien threat died down, without alien vessles to resupply their alien technologie's depleatable resources, all X-Com materials were put in indefinate storage. However, X-Com quietly remained to monitor alien activity. After the Chensu contacted Earth X-Com was integrated into Star Control calling themselves Corridor Nine. To aid in Earths time of crisis the Avenger is taken out of mothballs and launched against the enemy for it's final battle. Match up: X-Com Avenger vs Illwrath Avenger in a cloak and seek game, followed by a brief but climatic landing sequence.

I'm amazed I never thought of X-Com for a crossover, that series was RAWK (even if it was crazy hard).
And for the record, I've been reading PPGD for a while now, and it's pretty awesome. Too bad it's been on hiatus for a while, but I suppose Grim Tales sort of makes up for that.

Babylon 5 (Score:-1, Flamebait) This universe seems to fit quite well with the Star Control 'verse.
Speaking of " 'verse", what about "Firefly"? Their 'verse was just one solar system, with sub-lightspeed ships.

I thought Firefly as well but then realized that it would have to be an alternate 'verse becaus J. Whedon insists on 'no aliens, at no time'. Ofcourse a game that alows one to play at that 'socio-economic' level would be fun. There are some but in the SC 'verse...that would be cool.

I would enjoy watching the Shofixti tear the Ewoks into little more than bloody tufts of fur. Only Imperial soldiers could be so incompetent as to make them seem like a threat.

Here's one:
An Alien race, after a freak accident in their space is warped smack bang into Shofixti Space.
Though similar, the races begin to fight, fur vs. fur, paw vs. paw, ending almost always in a stalemate, the Yehat and Humans try to intervine but can't, they can only watch from the sidelines.
Now it's Shofixti Vs. Ewok!
Now, I could support this. Keep in mind StarWars happend "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." So by 2160 Luke and Solo long gone, so no Millenium Falcon or X-wing fighter showing up or anything. But what about if Ewoks continued to live and progress and are now exploring the stars... in wooden space ships?! They'd take double damage from flame weapons, but be lighter and faster. And Spathi Vs Ewok, "ee-choo-wa-wa". Dang explosive rodents would tear the Ewoks up and if the Ewoks somehow managed to gain the upper hand.. Kaiieee! They'd never see it coming.
Me likey this one.

I know I'm esentally double posting but I just thought of one. This one could modivate the whole crossover storyline.
Out in a far off corner of the galaxy accolade ships are quietly amasing with religious zeal the parts of an ultamite weapon. More like a god with destructive capabilities beyond even the SaMatra who's booming voice strikes fear with its pronouncement of "I LIVE".
It's Star Control vs Sinistar.
RUN, RUN, RUN.
