Does anyone know where I can find the MODS? I want to listen to the intro music...

You mean MOD music?

Try here: http://uqm.stack.nl/wiki/Star_Control_Music

Some of those links will be down... but you can get to them by extracting the uqm-0.5.0-content.uqm file that comes with any installation of the Ur-Quan Masters (UQM files are just renamed zip files).

Is there anyway to find the intro music on mp3, or wav or any format I could burn it on CD?

Get XMPlay and use its wav writer to convert the intro MOD music to wav or mp3.
