Hi,
1.) I'm back with another, an ingame, problem: I have the Chmmr upgraded bomb but still don't know where the Sa-Matra is. the Supox won't talk about it and I just don't find it.
2.) I have repopulated the Shofixti long ago, but there's nobody at Delta Gorno system, neither do I see a "Shofixti circle" on the star map.
3.) I have distracted the Ilwrath and they attacked the Thraddash. Now they are both gone from the star map (after the Ilwrath circle moved towards the thraddash circle and they annihilated each other). But I still find some Ilwrath ships in their former region. The real problem is: The Pkunk have gone completely. Since I started the revolution among the Yehat, there are two Yehat circles, but no Pkunk to be found. At Gamma Serpentis 1, I am attacked by those royalist giant bats.

In my game, I got the Pkunk killed and personally blew away the last shofixti, all by accident. I'm not good with small animals.

I think you were supposed to keep the Pkunk at bay until the yehat revolution concluded. I think the loyalists kill them if the Pkunk enter Yehat space during the conflict. Could be wrong though. Actually, if the Pkunk ever enter Yehat space, regardless of the state of the revolt, their sphere is eliminated. Remember, the Yehat hate them all the time, regardless of what they think of one another.
I seem to recall the Melnorme dropping a major hint as to the location of the Sa-Matra, but I could be wrong about that.
As was already mentioned, the Shofixti will never have a sphere of influence during the course of the game. Once they have replenished their numbers to a sufficient degree, the majority of them will reside at your starbase, while they search for a world where they can establish a new home.
I've never heard of Ilwrath still appearing after they complete their mutual extermination with the Thraddash. Were you in a system with their ships, or were they currently tailing you in Hyperspace, when their sphere vanished? If so, that could explain it; I've seen something similar happen with the Spathi.
Eventually, the Pkunk stop taking "no" for an answer in their quest to annihilate themselves at the hands (talons?) of the Yehat. As was said, bad things happen to good people sometimes; just continue on, and maybe you'll learn of their ultimate fate in time. Besides, you have unlimited RU and the ability to build both Chmmr Avatars and Utwig Juggers; a fleet of those should easily be enough to handle any (non-infinite-fleet) problems you might encounter.

I was under the impression that if you don't start the Yehat Revolution before the Pkunk head in that direction, they're gone for good. I never attempted to try it that way though.

Nearly every time I play the game, I usually wind up revealing the Yehat SOI when the Pkunk run into it. Suffice to say, I don't often focus on the Shofixti quest for a while, so I have scnat little reason to head down there beforehand; however, those free Pkunk ships are nice to have early on.
For the record, this does not affect the ultimate fate of either race whatsoever. The only thing that can screw that up is if you neglect to start the revolt at all.

if you start the revolusion then you can get free ships if you visit the area with the two yehat circles. Unfortunately you can also be attacked. as to the location of the sa matra if you want to know it then email me. use "request" as your title. rgtm202006@hotmail.com

I'm pretty sure you need to keep the pkunk (and the pkunk soe) alive by keeping them away from the yehat soe, if you want them to show up for the final mission. And since their ships are one of the best to use against the sa-matra, its worth your while.
The best way to keep them alive for the most amount of time is to let them get close to the yehat soe, and then tell them the bs story about cosmic correlations or what ever and they will have to fly ALL the way back to their original home, and after a while they will begin their journey again. So you can buy a lot more time if you let them travel for a while first. Not sure how many times you can bs them before it doesn't work anymore. Anyone know? In any event I always have enough time to finish the game before they die.
