If the Spathi stopped being cowards, my guess is that they would probably attack the Ilwrath or Umgah. The Ilwrath, because in the game, I was most of the time able to destroy a fleet of Avengers using Fwiffo, and the Umgah because they most likely would want revenge. They'd feel so stupid and ANGRY after being scared off their planet which was full of immobile defenseless creatures, and living on their moon.
Speaking of Spathi, I hope the new Star Control shows the Black Spathi Squadron. There have been so many rumours, and even a mock-article about it.  It would be really cool, and show a completely different side of the cowardly Spathi.
