pre-release V.2 bug

I've downloaded the updated content files and new exe based on instructions in the other forum.  I found a bug that makes life rather easy.  I plucked the egg shells fro Gama Scorpii and had a trail of mycon podships on my tail.  I hit a planet and left quick and managed to get caught.  I talked to the mycon, and as expected he "grew turgid", but I didn't have to fight.  It went right back to the game play screen completely skipping the melee that should have followed.  

Thought someone would want to know.
