He leaves behind two young children, who will grow up without a father. If nothing else, that is sad.

True. I think we all expected him to die in some animal-related way, but it can't be easy o nthe kids.

I heard about his death.  He was cool; never afraid of animals.  Crocodile hunting won't be the same without him.
