"Land" on the "Gas Giants" You never know what you might find on a gas giant, but land is never on one.

To put what Culture20 said into more direct form: You cannot land on a Gas Giant and you don't need to at any point in the game anyway.

"Or in that general direction..."
There is another planet in that general direction.
Once again, there is no need to land on a gas giant in this game. Only in one case will there be anything of interest on a gas gient, and even then you don't land, just communicate.

You're imagining things. Landing on gas giants has been impossible since SC2's first version in DOS. I think that you *might* have been able to scan them in the old versions, but since you can't actually send a lander down, that's pretty redundant. However, it's important to note that scanning gas giants has been impossible in every version of UQM I've played, which goes back to 0.3.

Fot or not?

- PC SC2 lets you scan gas giants (although you'll never find anything) but not land on them.
- 3DO SC2 gives you the main scan display but you can't actually perform the (redundant) scans.
- UQM 0.5 supports both versions and allows you to choose which behaviour to use by changing the menu style.
All in all, I'm not quite sure what you're complaining about and I fail to see how this is an error, let alone a graphical error.

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

Random secret dumps? I think that's what every other planet in the galaxy amounts to.
