What do you think the Melnorme look like?

here's a picture of a Melnorme for quick reference:



I tried to find an animated picture of a Melnorme not talking, but this was the only one I could find quickly.

I've never been able to figure them out. is this their whole head, their torso, their entire body, or what? are those arms on the sides?

Just post what you think this is a picture of, and what you think the rest of them looks like.

They look like the Mandelbrot set; this is just one of the end nodes. The part we see is actually 0.2 mm across.

hello there,

go into super melee and choose a melnorme ship then fight with the ai. you will see the melnorme cockpit in the usual place. fly your ship around and youll see melnorme's limbs which should clear it up Smiley

It really dosen't show any limbs.  You see his "shoulders" dip every time you execute a turning command, thrusting, or using the special weapon.  a light on his panel glows corespondingly and when he uses his main weapon the bridge turns colors and his face gets a strained look, like he ate way too much cheese earlier that day or something.
