Need help with Star search

I need help

How to activate that planet search?
Where to press /?
And how to see where to enter commands?

It's not a planet search, it's a star search. You use it on the starmap.

Then you enter the (start of the) name of a star or constellation. Press Tab to switch between matches if the prefix is ambiguous.

I know i am bothering you but i need step by step directions
I press shift, then choose starmap, and in starmap i press / near numlock and nothing happens.So i need help?

When you press the / the text field in the top left will start blinking. The key you press is not the / on the numeric keypad, but the one on the main part of the keyboard. On a US keyboard, it will be the key next to the right shift. On a Croatian keyboard, the / is on the same key as the 7. That's less than ideal, so you may want to change this key binding.
