What's up with the Spam?

Ok, rechecking these forums, I'm seeing this strange, horridly ugly spam recently, I was wondering if it was the same person, because a few posts were made of (bleaugh) and (urgh) stuff that was disturbing, sticking stuff up their you know, I just hope it doesn't happen again...

I got it as a private message once, though I happened to log in before TimeWeAsk was dealt with and still here. If they sent those pictures to EVERY person's PM box then that's some really bad shit. Do moderators possess the capability to wipe out other people's PM boxes? Because the way I see it, now's the time to do that.

I've never seen that here. Only registered users can send PMs.
However, I have seen that on the PNF board. Are you sure that isn't where you saw it too?

I often follow links in Slashdot posts. Thanks to my finely-tuned window closing reflexes, I managed to avoid becoming consciously aware of the contents of the image.

I say we ban the entire netblock from posting. It's the only way to be sure.
