I'm not sure if it's from the original credits or from UQM, but there's a line,
"Got us 86'd from a restaurant in vegas" (paraphrased, perhaps)
Does anyone know the story behind this, if it's worthwhile?
I love how the game never changes, but beating it over and over again still is tons of fun. Did the fuel trick on the druuge for the first time tonight (I think I always traded for the rosy sphere), and I must say that is a HUGE sum of cash (provided you have high-eff fuel tanks) that you can get relatively early in the game. Good stuff.
Madeline is one of the co-founders of Crystal Dynamics and occasionally is able to seek release from the heavy duties that entails. One CES we were attempting to have a company dinner at a swanky Mexican restaurant in Vegas. The food service was incredibly slow; however, drinks were served in inverse proportion to the meager appetizers that did arrive. Needless to say the atmosphere grew festive, in no small part due to Madeline's excellent leadership, to the point where the other, seemingly grumpy patrons and wait staff were unable to appreciate the levity of the situation. We were asked to be happy somewhere else at which point the story takes a nasty turn, the telling of which will have to wait until the statute of limitation expires.

Awesome, thanks. I was aware of being "86'd" but I had no idea what would've caused it. Looks like our SC people were (still possibly are?) a rowdy bunch!
