Remix music problems- Unusual, and annoying

For some strange reason, the remix music will work the first time I play UQM after installing, but afterwards will stop. It reverts back to the older music. As of yet, i have no idea why.

i'm also getting that sometimes on reinstalls
and on random! whats up with that?

Figured it out. Or at least, figured a way around it.

Create a shortcut for UQM and add "--addon remix" as the thing for the end. It reapplies the music. I'm sure it was supposed to automatically do the whole thing, but eh.
