So what do you think? Of course the 3DO videos look prettier etc., but the slides are more in SC2 style, don't you think? The same hand-drawn kind of graphics, way better than the "photorealistic" thingies.
Also, slides give one an unmatched feeling of immersion, and the text and the silence make you feel the very void and mystery of space.

I prefer the way the slides tell the story in the intro (and it does fit the rest of the game better), but the videos are still cool. However, the ending video looks a bit silly when you knock out everything on the Sa-Matra, dock your flagship without any resistance, and then, suddenly, in the video, you're under heavy fire. Also, the ending video degenerates into a (flickery) slideshow for part of its duration.

I'd go with the slideshow, in no small part bacause you don't get the commentary from the various races during the credits with the videos.
