Game differences.
« on: February 23, 2007, 04:07:59 pm »

Hi I am new here, but I loved SC 2, it was one of my favorite games.

From what ive read on the FAQ the actual game changes seem very small and cosmetic. it this intentional ?

I wouldnt mind playing a new SC2... but im not sure I want to play the same version all over again... it took me ages!

Anyhow hope the post isnt too daft a question... Dont flame me please.

Thanks.

John.

Welcome, John!  Smiley

You're correct in stating that most of the tangible differences are cosmetic. If you originally played the PC version, then most likely the biggest thing you’ll notice is the audio speech when conversing with aliens.

Also, a recent update allows players to connect over the Internet to play Super Melee. You can find people to play against at the IRC channel:

Hope that helps.
