Yes, I really mean it! I am genuinely repentant of the crime I commited abandoning my project (see "My voice pack" in my signature). Cry

But since the interest in my voicepack was so minute, so inexistant, I'd say that you didn't like my interpretation.
That's why I made this thread: I want to hear how you would imagine a perfect Utwig voice! And don't forget the Slylandro, of course - that voice is certainly not fit for a gasbag.

And if you liked my interpretation, just say it, don't be afraid! Wink

I actually like the current Utwig. Ok, I'm not listening to them long because they depress me, but that's the whole idea behind the Utwig to begin with.

As for the Slylandro, I can imagine that the voice is actually not a Slylandro itself, but a mimiced voice from the communications satellite. Real Slylandro may not have an actual voice you know....

I agree with the voice changes, specifically the Slylandro. Sure you can explain it off as communcations technology, but thats the easy way out. I think they need a more diverse and interesting voice.

The Utwig too should be changed, they covered the depressing just fine, but the pitch isnt right.

I find the whiny Utwig voice quite hilarious now. I admit it was not what I expected after playing PC version without voice - was expecting something more morose.

However i'm personally happy with how it is. It amuses me as much as any other voice and I consider it believeable pre and post Ultron fixing.

The Slylandro voices are not bad, but they're too breathy, and whats up with the accent Tongue

The Utwig just sound really distorted to me lol.

You know, I finally wanted to look at that, but now it's gone!

As for what I think oughta be redone, out of these, is just the Utwig AFTER they regain the Ultron. The Slylandro voice rather well matches a race young and naive in the ways of the greater galaxy.

Personally I thought that was one of the most amusing jokes in the game.

Get the player all excited over hearing what an ecstatically happy Utwig sounds like -- only to have him realize that the "annoying whiny emo kid" is just naturally how the Utwig sound. Classic.

I don't understand this strange fixation some of you guys seem to have with removing comedy from the game.
