<Joking>Even if I only have a Lurker, I can beat you. Yes, I'm that good at microing.</Joking>
Good. So the silly frog thing can be removed. And there was much rejoicing. Hey! It's not silly! It's just a preconception. That's how I viewed them the first time I met them.

I'm pretty sure that frog's eyes don't flop around when it makes noise. That ceertainly helped me determine that it was more plantlike; they seem more like seed pods than eyes.

I...I still don't get it. The only thing that's similar between the frog and the Zoq is the colour of both the skin and the eyes.
If you want something that looks a bit like a frog or a toad, try the Dnyarri.

I voted for both. But I'm thinking animal-like instead of frog like. The Spores thing does make you think plant, but the story of how they discovered the wheel, fire, and religion starts with "Then one day a Zoq a Fot and a Pik were walking up a steep incline...." Other than the Supox, most plants cannot walk, so I'm inclined to hink that it's a combo of both plant and animal. I also think that they're the one that can gain sustence form solar and ambient sources. Besides if the Zoq is really more plant than animal, it makes the Supox a bit less unique.

Well, it seems that you are talking about their real physiology, their internal morphology as well as the external one. I was just talking about the general outside look - moving eyes or not, few pixels are different.
