Zelnick's first name?

So the default protagonist of Star Control 2 is a Captain Zelnick. What's his first name?

Here's to hoping for a response of what is considered canon within 72 hours from Fred Ford or Paul Reiche III. Cheers.

I've said it and I say it again - it's Robert Zelnick.

Though if you want an answer from PR3/FF, I'd advise you to name your thread "ATTN FRED" or "ATTN PAUL" or "ATTN FWIFFO".

As unlikely as it seems, his first name is Captain. So his full title/name would be Captain Captain Zelnick.

I'd suggest "Strauss", based on the fact that Strauss Zelnick was CEO of Crystal Dynamics, publisher of 3DO SC2, at the time it was being developed (although he seems to have resigned before the release).

I'm starting to feel "Robert" is the one true choice. Even if the last name is a reference to the Crystal Dynamics CEO, it makes more sense if the captain has a different first name, anyway. You could leave "Strauss" in as an embarrassing middle name (after his great-great-great-great-grandfather or some closer ancestor named after him) or something, if you want to keep the Zelnick family reference intact.
