I'm 15. I discovered UQM by seeing that a game I was trying to download (Solar Winds) was a lot like this, so I figured I'd try this. I have not since opened Solar Winds at all.

I'm around 0.59 x 109 seconds old. When I played the PC original, I was quite young. Of course, I didn't understand anything of the story back then, so finding UQM was necessary for the completion of the game.

I think its great that UQM appeals to the younger crowd here. I would have guessed that only us nostalgic old farts liked this game. But apparently there are junior members of the community here that appreciate good gameplay and a good story. This is certainly refreshing to see.

I'm 15 now, but i was, like, younger before.  When i first found this.  I played sc1 when I was three, and I played sc3 when it came out.  I hadn't played sc2 until i found uqm, though.

maybe someone should tell EA that even the youth wants to have a new sc game.
i guess they think (like i did untill now) that only some nostalgic guys want a new/real sequel.
