Need help with getting the sun device

Im kinda stuck on this part and would appriciate any help.  Ive told the mycon about the world for thier deep children, but the mycon never leave to go there, so i cant land and steal the sun decvice.  Do i just have to wait a really long time?

You have to say it to the Mycon's at their homeworld, which is planet 1 in the Episilon Scorpii system.
