Just wanted to say thanks
« on: April 20, 2007, 05:55:28 pm »

I still have my star control disks and map but the disks started going bad about 3 years ago.  I found The Ur-Quan Masters last night and downloaded it right away so I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who have spent their time reviving this game.   I am very appreciative.   I have gotten fed up with all the newer games out on the market, none of them have held my interest as much as some of the older games and StarControl 2 was the one I have played the most out of my long history of games.  It is going to be the first space game I introduce my daughter too, and thank you for making that possible again.

Keep up the good work and Thanks you.

I don't like the word indoctrinate. Star Control II isn't a cult, despite what the FBI tries to tell us.

I fear that some of us may form a fanatical sect within this cult if a sequel is delayed more.

We could always be a religion. Except every religion always has some kinda offshot, and I fear for the day that  my peaceful relaxation is intruded upon by a Kazon's Witness. *Shudder*
