Well, you at least know which universe...

As well as the Nazgul bit.

Grin seriously though I applaud ya.

Just for the enlightenment of all, Morgul is "Dark Sorcery" in Numenorian and Murazor is the name of the Witch-King, i.e. the lead Nazgul.

Well if you're gonna go evil, why not make it Morgoth of the Thangorodrim (or if that doesn't fit, the Udun)?

Nice to see fellow Middle-Earth admirers here. =)

That's a nice idea... but I kind of don't like that idea for a simple reason:

the name Morgoth would represent impressive power.  power you don't have.

Sure, Murazor was powerful, but he also had severe limitations.  You, too, are powerful, but you too have severe limitations.  You can only have so many ships, you have only what RUs you can gather, etc.

I also like the twisted symbolism of being an emmisary for an intangible force.  Murazor was emmisary for Sauron, a spirit who could not take physical form, and in a similar albiet twited way you are the emmisary for the spirit of humanity.

Oh, and jic you are wondering I didn't think about all this ahead of time.  I noticed the parallels later.

Either Captain Avatar of the Yamato or Captain Aquilon of the Nacre.
Easy points for the first one, bonus points for the second (Ok, Nacre wasn't the ship, but close enough)

i go with my true name as captain, makes me fell apart of it all and as for the ship FREEDOM. this name actually works on 2 levels

1: the marroned people on unzervault wanted more that any thing to go back home, the wanted FREEDOM from being stranded. the ship gave them that.

2: when they reach earth and found out that the war is lost and the people of earth are now encased in a slave shield, FREEDOM  takes on a whole new meaning.

on another note i dont like the pre named Vindacator as that name implies the castaways new the war was lost and that this new weapon would bring them revenge...blah imho.

Man, I think you're my kinda man!!! look up a coupl eof entries and you'll see what I mean. Great!

Own name and "Freedom" are always my choice! For the same reasons too! This is crazy, man, plain craizy!

I imagine the same reasoning applied to the crews on VOLTRON waiting until the end to combine the lions/ships into the single VOLTRON robot.   Roll Eyes

I saw the car/plane VOLTRON first, then went back and watched the Lion VOLTRON.  There was a VOLTRON where they met and joined forces, but the car one is still my favorite. Smiley  I'm surprised that you remember Star-Blazers being 28.  I'm 33 and I was "fairly young" when it came out. Wink
