Issue that's just started plaguing me tonight - freezeup in Melee! combat. Both storyline and Super Melee!, in fact. So far all issues seem to be centered around the Hunam Cruiser's Homing Missile - more specifically whenever two shots are fired at once and they pass by another projectile, or object (such as a Dreadnaught's Fusion Blast, or an Asteroid) and suddenly UQM decides it needs 100% of the CPU and locks up entirely, forcing me to reboot the computer, as it takes 2-3 minutes to get a response out of the Control Panel and that just locks up anyway.
Also related to this; destruction of Hunam Cruiser resulted in same effect, when taken out by an Ilwrathi Avenger.
This seems to be purely restricted to the Cruiser, testing other ships now.
EDIT: Quick testing shows it seems to be only the Hunam Cruiser that causes/suffers from this CPU consumption issue.

You say this started "tonight"; does that mean UQM worked correctly before that? If so, what has changed? Have you installed some new software, for example (under some operating systems, especially Windows, running another game that uses a different version of a library used by UQM, such as SDL, may cause problems)?
Have you tried the following steps:
- Rebooting (which should solve library-related problems)?
- Reinstalling UQM (which should solve corruption of the UQM install)?
If neither helps, I suggest you file a bug report.

It persisted over several reboots, and nothing major has changed since installation. I'm not sure if it was an issue prior to this date (as I usually fight with the Flagship, due to it's heavy armaments) as I don't really play with the Cruiser in Story or Melee. I'll try reinstalling later, and if it continues after that file a report.
