I've got an egg case, and when I go to Tanala to show it to her, the only speech option I have is "Goodbye."

How am I supposed to obtain the Sun Device like this without condemning the Utwig and Supox to extinction?

The Mycon homeworld of Epsilon Scorpii answers this question for free. They will attack you as you try to leave, however.

Additionally, Excalibur is spelled with a "U" near the end.
