Wierd Worlds: Return to Infinite Space compatibility

Ok, I'm sure you're getting tired of me posting topics asking whether such and so is compatible with my old computer or not, but this should be my last one.

Anyway, I dowloaded the demo of Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space, and it worked surprisingly well on my computer. The title screen slowed me down a bit, what with all the ships blowing each other up, but it was managable. The only annoying thing in the actual game I found was that the mouse cursor had a bad frame rate, so it was hard to tell where it was going to go. I got used it, and decided to buy the full version.

However, once I actually read more about the full version, I found that my computer is a lot under the minimum requirements. The demo worked well, so would the full version work just as well, despite my computer being under the minimum requirements?

Er.. so what kind of computer do you have? How far under the specs are you? Is it like "I'm running a XP computer with a bit too little RAM and CPU speed", or "I use WIN98SE with 128 MB of RAM!"

I have Mac OS X.2 (I think) and I have only a 500 Mhz processor. I think my video card was also under the requirements.

I'm not really a computer expert, so I'm afraid this is the best I can give you  Undecided.

Spray some super-salty water onto the motherboard of your Mac while it's running. That speeds them up.  Grin

Amiga, I'm sure you get so much better performance out of your amiga.  Roll Eyes

Anyways, the slowness you describe could be what they were talking about... but it could also make the game unplayable at higher difficulties. It would be very frustrating.
