*Hurghi*! Krulle is *spitting* again!

Just read about the Orz being the heralds of the eternal1's and got a new thought:
What happened to the rest of the galaxy. In the core you were there to save the galaxy from the heralds. But in other regions of space (like earths' one for example), there must have arrived other heralds as well (regarding the distance in a galaxy and the short time the heralds/you have to gather enough sentience by products). Who has stopped those heralds? Who has fought them and if the heralds won what happened to the races living there?
No need to answer that one, though. Just like most open questions in SC3, it does not need to be answered. Although this one is more intigueing to me.

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

Consistency? SC3? This is the game which says, "You join the Ploxis. Then you die." if you agree to join the Ploxis. WOW, what a detailed denouement.
In any case, if the heralds were sent in every direction equally, then all the new alliance had to do to survive was beat up 20 of them. That should be easy.

I just figured that the Heralds would start at the Kessari Quadrant and move out from there.

It's at the core of the galaxy or something, and the rainbow worlds pointed there.

Nah, since the new alliance had no chance to assemble a fleet at home. (No hyperspace.) Every race was on its own, and i'm pretty sure, the Zoq-Fot-Pik, the Druuge (noone missing them), the humans, the Vux and the Syreen wouldn't stand a chance against these heralds. BTW: Funny isn't it: you're going to die, we have to wein but after such a small battle all ends. Like you said, consistency? Legend never heard of it....
I just figured that the Heralds would start at the Kessari Quadrant and move out from there. Likely, but then the heralds wouldn't stop after 20 ships. Send 20 ships from the centere in each direction and see how long it takes to get lost in such a big galaxy.

No, no, it says in the intro to SC3 that some of the remaining Alliance/Battle Thralls moved to the Kessari Quandrant because it was the galactic core. They needed to restore hyperspace travel by stopping the interdimensional fatigue. The reason the Heralds met you at Highpoint was because that is where the Eternal Ones began too feed. I doubt that they fed in other directions, that is to say, I doubt they wouldnt have started anywhere but the Galactic Center itself, being Hightpoint.

Whoops!
Sorry, just typed up the whole explanation here without noticing that you were about to start playing SC3. Never mind, I'll let you figure it all out.
