For those of you who don't read TIGSource, they introduced their readership to Transcendence, another game that can be put on the list of "Games like Star Control." So far I like it, but I'm still getting the hang of it.

Nice find, I played this back when .95 was released back in 2005. It takes some getting used as far what to buy and where to find someone to equip it.

From what I understand is that there only half way done with the game. I'll be checking in from time to time to look for updatesand such. I'm looking forward to a finished game when it's all said and done.

It's a shame that their aren't more space games like this and star control out there. Most of them are either 4x games or RTS's. I've had my fill of both.

This reminds me a lot of Escape Velocity, which I liked a lot. This is something to keep an eye on for sure.
