Hi everyone, I've just started this fantastic port of an already fantastic game. Just beginning the game, and guess what? I live in Buenos Aires. Know what that means? How about asking the Starbase Commander "How did the War end?". Yes, that's right.
THEY'LL BOMB MY CITY INTO OBLIVION!!! AAARRRGGHHH!!!

Haha, look out!
I always thought Buenos Aires' destrution was a nod to Starship Troopers, but I could be wrong. Anyways, enjoy the game and welcome to the forums!

Believe me, for us Third World it is extremely rare, if not virtually non-possible, to be mentioned at all in pretty much any games or movies of non-latin origin. As far as I can recall, we argentinians appear in UFO:Aftermath, thrice are mentioned in the Simpsons, here in SC2, in some Robert Ludlum novels, in Spy Games movie, and I think that's it. So its kind of funny and surprising to be explicitely mentioned in the subjugation of Earth.

Remember that the original SC2 came out in 1992.
