Heh, I remember thinking the same. That's why I always send the scanned starmap to new UQM players, and mention they'll need it.

On the other hand, where there's no challenge, there's no game.
And where there's no ideal, there's no progress, only stagnation and decay.
The VUX Beast is the ideal. To find it is to transcend the samsara, the cycle of birth and rebirth, and to attain Buddhahood.

EDIT: In simpler, less turgid words, having such a hard-to-attain goal increases the lifetime of the game.

Then I'm going to trasmit all my love to the programmers that have such an idea of "increasing gametime"  Grin...

Ok, now It's time to go to Procyon and to end this game  Wink...

You now, this was all pointless because ZEX TELLS you where it is. He SAYS it is in the Lyncis constellation and then he babbles on about the big creature eating the small creature. [or something like that. I didn't catch all of what he said] Maybe you just didn't ask him the right way.

No, no, he says "Linch-Nas-Ploh". Of course, it's rather easy to derive "Lyncis" from here if you have the right mindset (just like I did).

What constellation looks most like a long thin creature that has swallowed an elephantine beast (whole)?  Look at the starmap for the one that most resembles that and go there.  Remember also that Zex tells you that the sun is yellow, so rule out any stars in that constellation that aren't yellow.
