Make a Comic
« on: December 20, 2007, 06:07:49 am »

This thread is meant to be the destination for everyone’s ideas for comic strips.

Here is one I created:

It’s a whole new programming paradigm.

The rules are that they can be of any quality, but must be safe for work.

The Star Control one is strangely... amusing. If you were inclined to do a whole series, I would certainly read them.

I'll try, but I don't know if I can them keep as "amusing" as the first.

I plan on having regular characters eventually. Maybe an Orz and an Umgah. Suggestions are welcome.

Keep to the Spathi ones, I love em.

The graphics need to be watchable though Tongue

I can't make any promises on that frontier, but i'll try my best to make them seem like less of a Photoshop nightmare than they already are.

Ok, here is the next one. This time I tried a bit harder on the graphics, but not by much. I think the joke could use some work though......

I like that ruined city scene a lot. It took a little while to make that.

*groan*

I've been too busy with other things to bother with this crap......I was kind of running out of ideas anyway. You may have noticed with the poor quality of the last one.

But here is a humorous picture I made.

Maybe I'll make some more in a while, but don't expect big things anytime soon.

Bioslayer, that is partisan and unfunny. On SA there's a fairly hardcore Republican guy who can make good burns on political subjects, would you like to see what a decent one looks like? Here.

Dan Lacey teeters between being brilliant and batshit insane. This is one of his better works, even if I don't agree with it.

That is actually quite brilliant. I don't agree with it, but it is pretty funny.

I disagree.

If you think your work is funny, you have no taste. If you think that it isn't partisan, you have a fundamental problem with the English language.
