Friendly tip: The rolleyes emoticon makes even the most innocuous forum member (such as yourself) appear to be a jackass. Don't use it.

I didn't even use it? This is a pretty weak "gotcha!" attempt, and I would know because half of my forum experience is apparently dealing with the damn things. Additionally, standards of decency need not apply when interacting with jaychant.

Repeat the same thing at any one forum member and they'll start to get a little batty too. Who knows, maybe you're right.

I was saying SweetSassyMolassy is too biased to appreciate something right-wing regardless of quality.

Based on what? Hmm. I have reviewed Sassy's entire posting history (it's not long). So, unless you have had private contact, the answer to my question is: nothing. Given Sassy's further comments, I feel justified in concluding that you don't have access to Sassy's political views.

So here's a tip: Making wild claims about people without backing them up makes you not just appear to be a jackass.

Based on what?

Their lack of appreciation for what is, at a minimum, a well drawn picture. I feel it deserves more credit than it was given. Subjective? Absolutely. The whole discussion was about matters of taste, so it really isn't anything groundbreaking. Most people in here seemed to understand that.

Yeah, I know we've talked this to death, but I think it just happens that conservative media hardly ever makes anything funny or entertaining. I don't really consider myself a democrat, but there's just no getting around how funny the onion is, and how funny the daily show (or others like it) can be.  And what is supposed conservative entertainment supposed to be anyway? Rush Limbaugh? All I was saying is that it's unfair to say that someone who likes that type of entertainment is obviously a democrat. I know people that are conservative that like john stewart.

By the way, the cartoon is well drawn and makes it's point well, that's not what I was getting at

They're not. Hopefully the discussion will die down soon. I'm tired of it, at least.

I guess it's a good thing I accidentally closed my browser window last night before posting, then.

To put it short enough not to drag it on:
It may be well drawn, but that doesn't make it funny. More like inciting outrage. This is not a bad effect for a political cartoon, but it remains unfunny.

Yeah okay sure. I don't think it's that funny either. I must've minced words and said that earlier at some point. Or I didn't, but don't want to check.

So I guess I'm the only one who finds it funny then. Admittedly in a "lolwtf" way, but still. It brought a big smile to my face. I feel lonely.

But back to comics. Anyone care to post one?

Here’s another one I just made. This should be less offensive to Shiver and his kind.

EDIT: If you can’t tell they are holding game controllers and are playing a game.

Bad photoshop job. Worth a chuckle.

The text in the third panel is totally unnecessary.
