Wonderful work!
I've always imagined the Shofixti a little larger, and kinda stouter though. Like a mixture between a rodent and a Tolkienian dwarf.
The Thraddash and Umgah is excellent! A nice idea about the Umgah's original form.
The Zebranky really looks like something off the ZoqFotPik homeworld. Are the ZoqFotPik in scale?

Yeah, I'm somewhat into anime and Pokémon styled cute creatures. My style is an amalgam really.
Supox exploration, not to scale yet. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Photoshop 5.5 and Wacom intous 1 A4. ZFP could be a little larger perhaps, but I'm not sure about making Shofixti larger. I always thought of them as dog sized little tribbles.

Awww, the original Umgah is so cute. And very mischievous-looking too. Great work overall - I think the latest Thraddash is spot-on. I agree about the Syreens looking too girly, even if they're very cute.

Yet another rough... This time the Earthlings. They're based on the pilot portrait (mini pic when i melee). I surprised myself with the spandex look. Not sure if it's good or bad. I could use similar color masses, but a different material (armour bits, puffy cloth, whatever).
This is not particulary faithful... maybe it's a refit or new model...
...but when shown small and against a black background my re-design looks somewhat similar to original because of mass placement and value.

Looks faithful enough to me!
Nice work the the Supox too. It must have been somewhat tricky to somhow add legs. I think I like #3 and #6.

Revised.
From left to right. Maybe early to late timeline.
1: Based on SC1 melee selection pic. Most of those are a bit different than the ingame ships. I think it has fun and simple proportions, kind of like a stick with engines and a dish. I rotated and scaled up the sprite and drew over it.
2: Based on SC1 (Amiga) ingame ship. It has different engines and a longer forward gun.
3: Based on SC1 data pic and SC2 ingame ship. Used the blue side knobs. Too gritty.
4: My own thing. Not sure what to think of it. Would be cool to draw precursor addons.
Edit:
Edit: Thinking about it, I like the #1 so much that I might use it as a caricature template for the rest of the designs.
