Im new to the site, and only halfway through the game, but I'm flying around QuasiSpace looking for the Androsynth for shits and giggles. Do they not exist at all? Do the only come out at the end of the game? Or is it to remain a secret to me? I like their little bubbler/comet, so it would be nice to add one to my fleet.

The Androsynth are not in the game. It is generally assumed that their disappearence has something to do with the Orz.
You'll find some answers if you go to the Androsynth homeworld.

Valaggar, I already said that. And why is everyone using that stupid thing now? I was hopelessly confused when I first saw it, and I've never heard of "rot13" (and this is very significant because I am the teenager here).

I agree with Meep-eep. Stop using rot13. The point in spoilers is to prevent accidental reading of the text, not to make it difficult to read.
