Match groups with SC2 races
« on: August 06, 2008, 08:53:02 am »

IN DEPTH EXPLANAITION OF WHAT I WANT YOU TO POST IN THIS THREAD:
link a group you know(can be a business) with a race in Star control 2.

My contributions(use as examples)
Sony Defense force-VUX
VUX hate everything that isn't VUX.
SDF hates everything that isn't sony.

4chan-Umgah
much like the Umgah, 4chans humor knows no limits, and their pranks can be needlessly cruel.

Sony-Druuge
Much like the druuge, Sony makes crappy products that don't work (keep making progress with that PS3 and make more things that actually work and I will remove this association) and overprice them. The Druuge would probably be in favor of everything being proprietary.

EA games-Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
I believe these people just want to kill everything that has to do with gaming.

you can also comment on other contributions.

Greenpeace - Supox?

I agree with you on the EA one. Just imagine a game company shouting before its destruction: "Hold! What you are doing to us is wrong! Why do you do this thing?"

U.S. Department of Homeland Security - Orz

- it came seemingly out of nowhere.
- it talks in a way that's confusing and hard to understand.
- mysterious bad things happen to people who investigate it too much.
- it appears to be a bunch of different pieces, but they are actually all fingers of a concealed master.

"What happened?? Dammit, what did you do to our freedoms?!!"
"Nnnnnngaaaa!!!! I am *squeezing* the *juice*."

I figured my post wasn't necessary to list the reasons, they all seem pretty obvious.

Enron- the company crashed and burned, nobody really knew who was truly responsible at first, but then it pointed to a few guys.

US border patrol (guards)- they act like tough guys, but really they have a crappy job and have to be intimidating. Especially the US to Canada border.

Coca-cola- Supposedly killed some of their overseas union workers, don't really know all the details, but kind of similar to Druuge

Yeah, and they have a website.

Although I've gotta say, the Druuge appear to have a fairly rigid code for how to treat outsiders, and Coke doesn't.

You're too worked up about these guys. I find fanatics of a particular console, operating system or that sort of thing hilarious.

EA has improved over time, but that horrible reputation they earned themselves from years ago remains. They are at least cool enough now to give Spore an infinite budget and loose time restrictions.

They made Crytek rush Crysis.
A lot of groundbreaking developments COULD HAVE BEEN MADE.

ZFP <-> Ewoks

The little dudes that are used as scouts and are ferocious but small. Imagine Zelnick being trapped by 2 Urquan Dreadnoughts and 100s of Ewo... errr ZFP suddenly churning out from nowhere.

Druuge <-> IRS/any government taxing agency

Isn't this one obvious? The IRS taxes just about everything, forcing you into a life long labour only so you can retire at the age of 60something. Although they prefer that you die the day after your retirement though.

Ilwrath < -> little annoying kids that love to squish ants and/or burn them with a magnifying glass

Both very sadistic in nature, preying on stuff that shouldn't be able to hurt them.

Enemy home planet < -> traffic jam

Get in line and wait until it's your turn to go.

I dunno about that the gameplay (apart from the suit) is basically a copy paste of Farcry with a few new bad guys (and yes im aware they used the same engine but the islands are like identical in almost every aspect)

For a better explanation see here

Oh and i dunno if im supposed to say this but language warning on the linked video.

And what corresponds to Kibologists ?  Smiley
Sony-Druuge
Wait, when did they sold stain/spyware? At least they did not sold that 'caster to Burwixese ?..  Wink

ZFP - any not-so-mass media. Has history of great and coincidental accomplishements, proudly remembers big victory about which no one other than themselves knows (or really cares) at present, fears unprovoked and utterly unnecessary attacks from anyone and always ready for counterattack despite already being in critical condition, and will be quite happy to tell you everything you don't want to know about Frungy.
