Hi mates, guys'n'friends!

At first, lemme tell you something, although we all know how old this game is:
I'm 30 and got to know it almost two decades ago, at a time I knew nothing about the english language; I had a 6 years older friend who translated each shown line of speech to me and had tried to solve the game at least once before.
Together, we made it!

I discovered the universal publishing of this legend a few weeks ago and melt in nostaligy each second. Everything's like before, except of one thing:
Although the current (?) Quasispace-music reminds me of 'SUN-Project' and is pretty cool and well fitting in the context, it's not the one of the past.

I've searched for a proper download several times, found nothing fittible.

And here's the question:
How do I get the classic Quasispace music??
The one that could be sung like that:
"Ah-harilouuuuuu - La Leeee'layy"
The less psychedelic but more trancy theme I mean...

Looking forward to any explainations, wish you all something good!

Unless you have installed the remix packages, what you're hearing is the original music. But there are two original QuasiSpace theme songs, the one for the PC version of SC2, and the one for the 3DO version.
If you've ticked the 3DO music box in the installer, then you'll be hearing the 3DO version by default, but the PC versions are installed too.
You can change which version you get to hear, but if I'm not mistaken, you can't yet do this through the setup menu in the 0.6.2 version; you have to start the game with '--music=pc' instead. (Edit the shortcut you use to start the game, and add '--music=pc' at the very end of the command (after the quotes).

Actually, 0.6.2 already has "Music format" in the "Sound options" part of the setup menu, so you can just switch from "3DO/remixes" to "PC" music and restart UQM for slightly more old-school music.

Are you talking about this one?
I always liked that version and plan to use it in my UQM promo video. I have been looking for a better version with little success. I'm thinking that I will just try to clean it up and improve the quality with special software like Adobe Audition or something.
