Orz.. cannon weilding bad guys with space marines.. toasts heavy craft anyday. Probably one of the only ships to kill a Jugger on 1 on 1 combat.
Not really... You can beat it 1 on 1 with the following ships: Ur-Quan Koar-ah Androsyn Chenjesu Arilou Melnorme Mmrnmhrm Slylandro Thraddash Vux And those are only the ships which can beat it not with the help of luck. For example: You can headbutt the jugger into a planet with the Umgah and win. Ur-Quan I can beat, Androsynth I can beat, it's very possible. Melnorme I can beat. Vux is like easy pickings, Thradassh.. I can beat, Chenjesu is easy pickings, Kohr-Ah is hard, but can be beaten.
Out of all those which I think they are hard I'd say:
Slylandro. It can move around, zap you and outrun your marines, and you can't retaliate very well.
Mmrnmhrm. They can outrun you and spam missles.
Arilou, as you can't shoot the guts out of this thing. (Keeps teleporting, although I've killed 1 once it was VERY lucky).
And a computer controlled Pkunk usually is terribly difficult.
Other than that, all the other ships are beatable.

I think that you misunderstood me. I didn't list the ships who you can beat with the nemesis, I list the ships which can beat the Utwig Jugger one on one.

Spathi are hilarious but I must say that #1 place on my top 3 of UQM races goes to Zoq-Fot-Pik; I always liked those wacky little buggers because they are somewhat naive, actually good unlike most other races and they just started spacefaring...and instantly got neck deep in trouble and who can dislike Frungy (THE best sport of all times)? Syreen are obvious second (space amazon blue skin babes?hell yeah.) with Chenjesu being the third (really interesting concept for an alien life form). From the races not listed, extinct or not accounted for I always had sympathies for Burvixese

I like most of the races in the game for different reasons. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be decided between the Syreen, Yehat, and Chenjesu. The Syreen because of them being ladies, and having such a similiar biology to humans. I wonder what the life of a male Syreen is like, I can't remember where I saw this (it may be in the original manual to SCII) that there were only a few thousand females (I forget the exact count may have been 2,000 or 20,000) in the Space Patrol, and only 500 males that survived the destruction of Syra.
I liked the Yehat's theme music and how they talked, not to mention their story about the way the Shofixti fought so valiently against the Ur-Quan.
I also liked the Chenjesu. I thought it was interesting that they are silicon based life, their fantastic intellects and that they have the ability to send/receive Hyperwave transmissions naturally.
I agree that the Spathi likely have the best dialogue, though I do like some of what the Zoq-Fot-Pik say. I like the Umgah, and think they're quite funny. I actually think that the Pkunk are somewhat annoying with their dialogue, but I like their ships, and their race.
It would be nice to learn much more about the Precursors, Yuli, Drall, Yuptar, Burvixese, Taalo, and Gg. Would love to know more about the Faz as well. Hope a true sequel will have clues to them. Would love to know where exactly Glilandy is, Same as to the homeworlds of the races I mentioned (other than the Burvixese since we already know where that is).

My pick was Kzer-Za also . I can really sympathize with their cause from their point of view moreso than with any other race in the story . Add to that me being misanthropic researcher .

I really wish you could ally with the Ur-Quan and defeat the Kohr-Ah. Then you could fight the Ur-Quan afterwards.

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

This was a welcome bump. Reminds me of Kohr-Ah Primat.
