Hello, fellow campers.
I'm currently running UQM on Kubuntu and have decided to try something unorthodox. I want to do a New Game Plus. That is to say, I want to start the game with the ship I have now to see if I can finish in record time.
It occurs to me that I could do this with a save game editor, but I haven't found one for Linux. To be honest, I've never used a save game editor for this game.
Ideally, though, the bosses would be tougher, the groups of enemies larger, and the probes... even more annoying.

You mean a mod, or a challenge? Or perhaps a cheat?

It's not really practical to balance combat around a flagship sporting hellbore cannons, shiva furnaces and ATS's right from the start.

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

Well, Chrono Trigger's New Game+ is used to do trick endings, of which there are around 9 (three of the endings could be considered normal, I think).
What trick endings could you do here? I guess it depends on how fully tricked out your ship is. If it comes with the modified bomb, then you had better have all the quests pre-done.
