I have an ongoing network problem (not related to UQM), and as a result, I cannot get a download to complete for the content for the game. I can, however, manually download the content, and have done so. When I place it into the folder locations specified ( http://wiki.uqm.stack.nl/Content_Management ), it still tries to run the download (which fails, so the game will not run).
On Windows Vista, I am able to run the installer and it detects the presence of those files, and so skips that process. On Fedora Linux, via an rpm, it does not seem to be able to do the same.
Whats the right way to get it working under Fedora? I really dislike using windows unless I absolutely must.
We do not make the packages. Whatever tries to download the content file on Fedora is not written by us. I advise you to ask for help with the Fedora people.
