IRC Problems? « on: February 04, 2009, 12:23:03 am »
So, since I got a bit bored of working on ship sprites, I figured i'd check out the IRC channel to see if there was anybody on to melee. However, when I try to connect to the IRC channel it just lags out or something. Does anybody even use it anymore?

What do you mean by "it lags out"? The #sc2 channel is pretty calm most of the time, with bursts of activity. If you're having trouble connecting using the web irc client, try a standalone one. MIRC is an often used one for Windows, and for Unix-like systems irssi is a good one to run in a terminal. The Opera web browser also has IRC support.

I'm using chatzilla. It fails to connect at all, just sitting there trying to.
