So, who has seen the Denny's super bowl commercial?

I had to come here as it simply just reminded me of it, and I had to bring it up to like-minded individuals.

There it is if you haven't seen it before.  You can see a bad loop of it here for emphasis.

Does anyone else look at Nannerpuss(the voice, and the animation) and think "revenge of the Star Control installment that shall not be named"?  You know which one I'm talking about.  The one that we don't talk about....

I get it, but that's a far leap to think it might be related.
The voice is that of the hunams and the puppet motions are dead on to that pink spathi.

Well, I meant specifically by way of the extensively cheesy voice acting and animations you see in the dialogue encounters with the other races in...that particular game.  Not the game in general.  I figured that much could have just been assumed.

More to the point, I never said there had to have been a connection to the game itself, I'm merely saying it blatantly reminded me of going back to alien dialogue in it.
