Newbie compiling source on VC++ 6.0
« on: January 29, 2003, 01:17:13 am »

I'm half-expecting flames for this, but I'll post anyway:

I downloaded the source, just to fool around with some of the ship settings (personal amusement.)  I'm dangerous enough to recognize what I need to change, etc - but I'm having a hell of a time getting it to compile.

Namely, I'm missing param.h and uneth.h (?) - which I've read elsewhere is really only required for a Unix system.  Best I can tell, these all tie into telling the machine how to save files, etc.  If you comment out the include lines for them, you're busted either way, because of the other variables those define.

So my question is this - where can I find these, or can I?   Is there an easy way to get around these, or should I just give up the whole operation because the game won't compile without the information stored in them?

These files are no-where to be found on the cvs, so I ask here.

Any help/suggestions is appreciated, depending.
