Selling VUX Intruders???

OK, this has been bugging me for FAR too long.

From the Ultronomicon article on Elvish Pillager's mod:

What the heck is this supposed to mean?? You never pilot a VUX Intruder, so it doesn't occur to me that you can SELL them. Am I missing something, or is this just bad wording on the writer's part?

Maybe you can get Intruders in EP's mod?

To my understanding, no. At least, the article never says that you can get Intruders, and I've never obtained an Intruder playing the mod.
