Plus this game has the voice dialogue from the 3DO version and internet multiplayer support.

So, If I finished the game of starcontrol 2 there isn't any reason to play this, right? There isn't any new thing except small changes?

I'd say the voice acting is a good enough reason to play Ur-Quan Masters.

In addition, the game is so "large" that you'd find lots of new stuff AND the little improvements are very good.

Well,  you could download UQM and stick the "Extended Edition Mod" on there. The big things don't change, but it's a bit more polished.

The long time its take me to move from place to place, the slow of the game...

Grin I forget a lot of things since I was little.
I can assure you that thrusters are not one of them Smiley

I'm talking about the hyperspace traveling.
Also, there are a lot of things that once was OK but today are really hard to do with out (save part of the conversations, mark plant you visit and may want to come back etc).

The game is still great, Tons of ships and other races, but I don't know if I will have the patience for this slow game now
(already lost the " Spathi" and the "Zoq-Fot-Pik" Sad poor creatures)

I must admit, I just read again the history of the races in SC2 and a lot of stuff  about few of the races and the devices and it took me back a few years back Smiley

I forget how large and wide this world was. How many races there are and how nice and interesting is there history.

It was just a pleasure Smiley

Well all right... I think the longest possible transit time, sans teleports, when fully decked out with thrusters is very reasonable when compared to other adventure/RP games such as, say, any Zelda game from 1 on up, any electronic RPG at all... just about the only game of even vaguely comparable scope I can think of you can cross very much faster without teleporting is the Kingdom of Loathing - and that's because you can move as fast as you can type your destination into the command line!

You'll notice I excluded teleporting. There's a good reason for that (innocent whistling).

Typical transit times aren't too bad so long as you're not going to Betelgeuse.

Someone MUST make a mod, part of wich would be that the third time you enter the aforementioned system, you'd be greated by black and white undead guy Smiley

At least wipe out your smile while you are whistling  Cool

I am in a dilemma now about continue playing or start over (I miss the "Zoq-Fot-Pik", may be I can save them) or just stay with the memories since its a very long game Smiley

Thanks for the posts, Its nice to have people you can talk about history with Smiley
