Alvarin: Sure, all I have to do is put a copy of some speech on a track that is exclusively sending to the "wet" reverb chain without a regular "dry" output.
The echoes in the background of the inserted bit don't match well with the echoes of the original, in my opinion. You've done fairly well matching the actual voice, though; it's not perfect, but it's fairly close. I suppose it'd be difficult to get much closer unless you could get the original speaker to record the line (which I assume is unlikely).
Close indeed. However, it's possible that it was recorded at a rate of 11,025 Hz and the filter was not that characteristique. Also, isn't the effect a Reverb/Flanger (serial) one instead of a Reverb/Chorus? (An additional Phaser on the high freq compound is also possible.)
[Alternatively, use a RotarySpeaker FX on the whole part and crossfade it into the original speech. This can hide the sudden change of the texture.]
