I'm gathering players for a Star Control-themed game of Mafia to be held at SCDB.

You can review the general gist of the rules on wikipedia at 'Mafia (Party Game)'

The exact rule set will only be revealed at the end of the game. We only have 4 players at the moment, which is simply too few.

That looks like fun. How will you do that online? Will it be Ur-Quan themed? I guess the mafia would be Kohr-Ah and the innocents Spathi?

Actually, looking at the variants and based on what D999 said over at the SCDB, I'm guessing each player will get a different race. Mafia will probably be the Hierarchy, with the Kohr-Ah as an independent "serial killer" type player... but that's just a guess. Cool

That's right. Kohr-Ah, if included, would be a One-Man Psychokiller team. If the game is small, they'll be excluded.

If not, I would like to propose Ur-Quan dreadnought, vaguely based on happenings of ThatUrQuanMasters, the comic.

That's nice to hear. I hadn't started more than very general planning for another one, but good to know I can expect more than 8.
