Is this the beginning of the end? I didn't know gas giants were so dynamic in their appearance, it might be something to look at for future SC based games Smiley

Well, considering that the color bands are caused by massive storms, it doesn't seem too farfetched that changes in weather patterns could alter the planet's appearance. Take a look at how much NEB has intensified in that second photo. It could just mean that things are moving in a different direction in the atmosphere, and the storms composing SEB are dispersing.

I wouldn't exactly call it an apocolypse. Wink
