Mac 0.2?
« on: February 18, 2003, 09:08:19 am »

Just wanted to know what was being said.  Are we expecting a mac 0.2 as well? I've been quite impressed by what I've seen so far, have played through the entire game twice, only an occasional freeze, graphical glitch, etc.

On a related note, when can we expect a Project Builder project, if at all?

Also, I wanted to thank McNamara for his work, without him non of us mac users would have the opportunity to replay this fantastic game again.

Star Control 2, re-released, for free, for Mac OS X, open-source, with internet play, and editable everything under the sun, and maybe even more... I need to change my pants.  Yes I said Mac. Pants.

With current CVS there's some weird Mac-specific input problem (arrow keys not working, etc). We are not yet sure what to do to Mac 0.2, as we haven't got any mac developers who could help us fix the input bug and some other major mac version problems.

Same applies to PB project, it will be there as soon as some mac developer wants to make one.

If the core team doesn't release an "official" 0.2 alpha for OSX, you'll definitely be able to get an "unofficial" one from my site.

So no worries..  Smiley
