We are debating Star Control 4 in the below thread, please join in the discussion. From now on, i will post
my topics on this site (i am Axemaster over there)
The following link i intended to post on this site for this site has biggest exposure, unfortunately
for who knows what reason i stumbled upon the below site first and started posting there.
Please join in the discussion if you'd like, it is all about SC4 and UQM. I also hope a member of TFB would read it to see what we as gamers enjoyed regarding SC2

If it's all right with you, I'll stick on this one because I know it already.
Is it true? Really? A new Star Control game? Are they currently working on it? What platform(s) will it be offered on?
How much will it cost? Will we want a star map for this game as well?
What is TFB?

A Spathi knight huh? Maybe they used (ten foot?) pole weapons to keep the enemies at a safe distance. What a strange sight to behold, watching their armies 'clash'.

By all means, this is a Wonderful site, please do stay if you like it. 
Fred said he and Paul is working on a few designs for a next Star Control in their spare time HOWEVER, he made it clear that we understood that nothing is certain at this stage.
It also seems like there is a few members who does not want to get too excited all too soon. Seems like they've been disapointed in the past.
NONETHELESS, I have High Hopes, HEAR me a sequal will be made and it will live up to it's reputation! There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever!
It's a part of Paul and Fred, just as much as it is a part of Us!
They will always long to create a sequal as much as we would long to have one.
We will ALWAYS be here to show them we are Explorers of the Universe by Heart and will strive for the ultimate Space adventure in existance to Return to LIFE!
The World is goinf to have a new meaning when the next SC sequal is released!
STAR CONTROL FOREVER BROTHERS !!!!!

Star Control 3, for all intents and purposes, doesn't exist. Any sequel should take that into account.

I'll happily insult Legend for their lackluster, broken effort, thanks. Had SC3 been a quality game, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

IMO, Accolade/Infrogames/Atari deserves a kick in the pants just as much as Legend. Accolade rushing things to get SC3 out the door is most likely the cause of the infamous beta-quality.
