A lack of activity can be greatly offset by becoming more active. Therefore, I'd suggest posting more often. Other than that, I'm not certain what you mean by "biting the dust". This forum does not seem to be in any imminent danger to me.

I don't think it'll die Wink. Besides, I don't post over there anymore, so you're more inclined to see more posts of me here Smiley

This forum is in no danger of dying out until the UQM team cancels any further updates to the project and disbands. Therefore, I'd say we're in pretty good shape, seeing as how that's not particularly likely to happen.

It should be mentioned that this was in relation to the old "Is the SCDB dying?" threads we used to have, which also cropped up even though the forum was in no danger of actually dying. I don't think this place is going to disappear, but it is a lot slower than it used to be.

Exactly. A lot of people seem to just read and follow threads without ever posting. And then they wonder why the forum is so slow.

Yeah, and once there is a new release from the team I expect this place will perk right back up.

Doesn't show any signs of that so far.

'kay. We've had a record winter and a record summer up here in Finland. Except for some trombs the weather has been awesome, better than in the last 20 years. thus, I posit that Global Warming is good for Finland and to hell with the rest of you. Were the number one country in the world anyway (according to newsweek) so it's only fair that we reap the benefits of this lovely phenomenon.

Too bad about Russia, though. They're wishing it were a mite cooler.

That's an added bonus for us. Serves them right for invading us some 70 years ago. I guess revenge is sometimes a dish best served hot!
