Upon recently installing Ubuntu Linux 10.04 on my ailing iBook G4, I immediately installed The Ur-Quan Masters, being a long time fan of the game. The game opened in its default settings, and I thought that I would toy around a bit with the settings to see what sort of video quality I could draw from the game using my laptops meager resources.
Big mistake - I unwisely changed the size and scaling settings beyond the capabilities of the laptop. As as result, the machine does not have enough horsepower for me to get to the settings list to change things back to something playable.
Were I playing the game on a Windows machine, I would have no problems finding the files which dictate the settings and changing some of the code. However, my familiarity with Ubuntu is passing (but improving), and I have been unable to find any settings. Does anyone know of how and where I can do in and change things back to the defaults, so that I can get back to playing? I am not afraid of the command line, so if I need to use code there, I will.
Thank you very much in advance for your help - I eagerly look forward to a solution to this!

Go to places, home folder. Press ctrl+H to unhide, go to .UQM. there is a file called uqm.cfg pretty self-explanatory on the inside. Or you could just delete it and the game will generate a default. Good luck!
