Problems

On my UQM game the voice has cut out completely, there's no voice anymore.
Also, when I try to load the balance mod it says that the Software comes with absolutely no warranty.
Over the last week or so:
1. My Computer was infected by three viruses at once, all removed and scanned though
2. I downloaded Comodo Firewall.
3. I downloaded Project 6014 (no voice on this either)
4. I downloaded the UQMtools Voice Editor thing
5. I tried playing Blacne mod, gave me warranty problem.
6. I played normal and Crazy mod and both had no voice
Voice file is still there, I checked.
Also, when I was using the UQMtools things I copied UQM over so I had two copies of it. This way I could edit one while still keeping the original. I deleted the voice file in the Edited one only, but I have since restored it becase I thought that might be the problem.
Just downloaded Ur-Quan Masters again and voice doesn't even work on that.

Post a copy of the file stderr.txt which should be in your main UQM directory (same as the executable). That could help identifying the issue.
I suppose music is working fine for you ? What about sound effects (menu beeps, lander...) ?

Post a copy of the file stderr.txt which should be in your main UQM directory (same as the executable). That could help identifying the issue.
I suppose music is working fine for you ? What about sound effects (menu beeps, lander...) ?
It's only the voice, music and sound effects work fine.

Make sure that your directory structure looks as described here. Also try deleting the uqm.cfg file. See here for the location.
in the Addons folder there is: "Balance_mod_effects.zip" and "twwin.exe"
In the packages folder I have all of the ones described, plus "uqm-0.6.0-content - Copy.uqm"
I have uqm-3do.cfg, uqm-pc.cfg and uqm.cfg. Just the last one or all three?

twwin.exe is the name used for the official Windows Timewarp executable (in my copy anyway). Really weird that that would end up in UQM's addon directory, could it be that one of the viruses randomly moves stuff around or something?
